We’re definitely looking somewhere else.Īs the name suggests, Black Marsh is a swampy area rich with life and sentient trees called the Hist. This land of giant fungi and strange alien flora would be instantly recognisable, the semi-barren lands in the trailer definitely aren’t in Vvardenfell or its surrounding regions.Įlsweyr is made up of savannahs and badlands in the north with jungles becoming more common as the land reaches towards the ocean. It could possibly be taken for The Reach but as that area is landlocked, it seems to rule Skyrim out. Those suffering from Skyrim fatigue were probably relieved to see the trailer as it doesn’t look like Skyrim at all. Let’s get our travelling boots on and take a whistle-stop tour of The Elder Scrolls universe and see if we can point out what the future holds. Combine that with what we know about the world of The Elder Scrolls and we can begin to build a picture of potentials. ![]() ![]() Whilst it’s not possible to say for certain exactly where we’re going, this little trailer does at least make some areas more likely and rules out others. ![]()
